ThunderClan Camp

Splashfur begins to reply, but feels water droplets, she squeaks softly and looks up. She glances back to Friskypelt and replies "I'm well Friskypelt, thank you for asking." She glances up the rain falling more heavily now and then back to the kits "Would you like help bringing them back to the nursery?" She adds as an afterthought, "Shame we can't move the fresh-kill pile, its going to be soggy after this." She flinches as a loud crack of thunder fills the air.

Friskypelt nodded in agreement. "Yes, but it's better than having no food at all." he murmured with a grim expression on his face. He nodded at Splashfur, herding the kits with a smile back into the nursery with their mothers. "Come on little kittes, let's go play inside." He chuckled.

Jaggerstar could still cats murmuring about and she let out a loud yowl." Thunderclan attention please!, thank you. Since you all have not heard me the first time I shall repeat myself. While I was on strolling just a second ago, I heard some shadowclan warriors come towards. I also could tell by their stench that lightstar and longstripe was not with them. So we must hurry and scare those mousebrained cats home, but if they stand their ground wanting to fight, we must do the same." The she cat said with her loud clear voice. "Someone get the elder and kits safely into their dens, apprentices you stand on look out, for anymore shadowclan warriors, splashfur go and find the medicine cat so she can help anyone who gets injuried, and Friskypelt you and I will gather warriors, now that everyone for their position lets get to it." Jaggerstar said as she leaps down from highrock.

Friskypelt's fur bristled at the thought of ShadowClan trying to steal their territory. He called out to all of the strong warriors, bringing a few apprentices as well. "Oh StarClan, please make this easy." He prayed.

" lets go then." The she cat said as she quickly exits the bristle tunnel and out the forest as her nose was lifted in the air to gather their stench." Hurry they passed over Thunderpath!" Jaggerstar said to her clan as she heads for the direction of the ravine, as she easily climbs up on the slippery rocks as she felt a drizzle of rain. As she got to the top, she looked behind to make sure that everyone made it. As she got closer to a tree she turned to the apprentices,"now two of must go up their with a warrior for the look out." She pointed out to apprentices and a warrior before flicking her tail for the others to follow. She could smell them even closer now she slowed her pace so that the she cat wouldn't slip on the slippery ground." They only passed the border, and it seems they're going to the abandon twolegs place." She mumbled.

Friskypelt followed, unsure that it was ShadowClan. "Jaggerstar, that doesn't just smell like ShadowClan, it smells like ThunderClan scent was masked by it. I think our warriors have been sneaking over the borders." He told her with wide, but angry eyes as he thought.

Jaggerstar shook her head at the thought." I saw shadowclan with my own two eyes, I can tell who's part of thunderclan and who shadow clan." The she cat said as she turned her head over to her deputy as she kept walking."beside the cats I saw was very well concealed in the shadows, those sound familiar don't it? Besides are cats are good at hiding but only in trees and bush, those cats where well hidden on the ground." Jaggerstar mewed before picking up her pace again.

Splashfur raced off to find the medicine cat quickly before the warriors left, she wanted to go as well. The thought of those fox-hearted cats thieving from Thunderclan really made her fur bristle. After finding the medicine cat she was ready just in time to catch up to the last warrior. She was silent as they made their way to the border. Just then a flash of lighting lit the air "Just great." Splashfur thought grumpily "This would happen." She thought glancing up at the skies and hoping the thunder and lighting didn't get too bad. Now she didn't mind the rain as much as the other cats but if she could avoid it she wouldn't go out in a thunder storm.

Friskypelt sighed an dbounded after Jaggerstar. Sometime sh ethought she coudln't see past her own nose. But he didn't argue anymore.

As her paws slowed down as she lift her head the sniff the air." There they are." She said softly as she saw other cats eyes glow. She turned to her deputy," when need to come up with a plan." She said coldly eyes to the other cats in front of them. She shook her head," I can smell their shadowy scent from here." She flick her ears at the sight of them.

Friskypelt twitched his whiskers, seeing the cats. "They look like loners, not ShadowClan. Smell better." He told Jaggerstar, knowing these weren't Clan cats. He knew he was right and it was just two loners crossing through ShadowClan and ThunderClan territory.

Jaggerstar shook her pelt." I know those cats look like loners but its shadowclan in disguise." The she cat said looking back at Friskypelt. " starclan told me this in a dream, I know I may have went through many mishappenings, but you have to trust me on this one." Jaggerstar said in a hush, but serious tone as she explained to her deputy.

Friskypelt obviously didn't believe these were ShadowClan cats, as the doubtful look he gave his leader was clearly visible. The tom sighed and wiated for the signal. He didn't feel this battle was worth it.

She sighed as she could she her deputy." You"ll understand one day, that I have save yours life and others." She turned her head before crouching in her position. Waiting for the right time, she whispered to herself," starclan let this be quick." Her eyes widen as more cats filled the area before her. Jaggerstar raised her tail as a signal and she began to crawl like she would of done in hunting.

Fireheart watched from the bushes, tail flicking from side to side. He had disguised his scent, and his tabby pelt blended in with the ground. He narrowed his green and blue eyes. The tom crouched lower to the ground, staring at the defensive line that formed between Shadowclan and ThunderClan. "What a bunch of frogbrains." He whispered to himself, to quiet for anyone to hear. Fireheart switched his gaze to ThunderClan. He noticed the leader, Jaggerstar, seemed to be very aggressive, while her deputy didn't seem happy. He turned to look at Splashfur, then looked away, not particularly caring at the moment, But as he turned he got a good glimpse of her. Fireheart's head snapped back towards her. The sleek she-cat's posture seemed frustrated, but she was closer to camp. "Well then." He murmured, turning his attention back to the bristling Clans.

Splashfur could feel anxiousness clawing at her. She would rather leap into battle and be done with it. She glances around at her clan mates, noticing how upset Jaggerstar looked and that Friskypelt didn't look too pleased. Splashfur turned and met eyes with Fireheart before he snapped his eyes away. She turned her attention back to Jaggerstar, waiting for her signal to attack.

"Attack!" She yowled clearly as she leaped in action. Her paws touched the ground swiftly as she headed towards the cats. Jaggerstar eyes narrowed as she aimed for one cat. She felt the impact as the cat she aimed for jumped on her back and grab her neck, but she turned her head and bites the cat's paw and eaisly throwing down to the cold, wet earth.

After seeing Jaggerstar hurl herself at a shadow clan cat, Splashfur quickly followed suit. She picked out a smaller tom, and leaped at him, landing on his shoulders. The tom screeched with surprise and she sunk her claws into his shoulder. Hissing the tom rolled, crushing Splashfur nervously she sinks her teeth into his back. Hearing him wail she takes the opportunity to wiggle out from under him. Spitting Splashfur whips around and lands a blow on his shoulder. He wails and races off. She glances around to see if anyone needs help when a suddenly something knocks her off balance and a sharp, throbbing pain erupts in the side of her neck. She goes limp and when the grip is loosened she tears herself away, seeing a large she-cat. She leaps at her but the she-cat pins her down raking her stomach with her claws. The she-cat is torn away and she notices a large tom from camp now fighting her. Splashfur sorely climbs to her paws.

Jaggerstar hissed with rage as she sees herself cornered by two toms. The she cat lowered her body to a crouch, as one Tom swinged his paw over head, but soon felt a blow in her side as she was knocked off her feet. Jaggerstar quick standed up, the face the two toms, as they both charged at her at top speed but only to collide into one another as she leaps over them. The she cat jump onto ones backs biting in its shoulder before leaping to the next Tom, letting one she biting scratch the other toms face, and she bite it's leg before the two Tom started to fight with each other.

Splahsfur pauses watching Jaggerstar fight off two toms. She wonders if she needs help but sees the two toms run off yowling. Splashfur can feel the blood drip from her stomach, she grunts softly before turning to find a Shadowclan warrior and a Thunderclan apprentice in a desperate struggle. Splashfur feels anger boil in her blood, she hated it when a warrior took on an apprentice. She dashes over and slowly, her and the apprentice fight the warrior off. The apprentice mews her thanks. Splashfur glances her over and tells her gently to get back to camp. Splashfur darts at a Shadowclan cat's legs, knocking them off balance. She twists her body so she's on top of the tom. Spitting fiercely she rakes her claws down the black tom's belly. He throws her off and sinks his teeth into Splashfur's shoulder. She wails and the tom lets go, angrily Splashfur brings her claws down the side of the tom's face. He races off and she gets to her paws, shoulder burning.

The sound of a shadowclan warrior yowling retreat filled jaggerstar's ears. She could see cats scrambling across Thunderpath, and the she cat " and stay off our territory or we really will take you out!" She yowled clearly before turning around to face her clan." Lets go home and address our wounds." She said softly feeling a small pain in her stomach, Jaggerstar signaled with her tail to follow as she cross the ravine and into the tunnel and waits to go lastso the others will get tended to.

Splashfur felt relief wash over her, as the shadow clan cats darted away. Her shoulder burned where she had been bitten, as well as her tail. She began to follow her clanmates back to camp and saw the sky while still overcast, had at least stopped raining. The drew drops on the plants glistened dully and the ground was soft and muddy. Even though today had been a tiring day, it made her feel proud she could protect her clan.

Fireheart watched with clam eyes as the battle raged then stopped. He watched with undisguised interest as she walked past his bush. He couldn't believe he had stayed hidden, but to be honest, the battle was to much a distraction. The RiverClan warrior twitched his white-tipped tail and ears.

As Splashfur padded back to camp she passed by a bush, and she could have sworn she scented the faintest trace of Riverclan, She pauses for a heartbeat but shakes her head and continues on to camp. Splashfur glances around trying to see if any cat was badly hurt. She didn't notice anycat in particular so she relaxed a bit. As she got to camp she noticed a group of cats surrounding the medicine den, not feeling like waiting she goes straight to her nest instead.

Jaggerstar felt the pain in her shoulder, but she didn't worry about it to much as she headed to her den. She licked the huffed area slowly and quickly. Her ears pricked with scents of a riverclan cat and she growled lowly as the she cat lowered her body letting it touch the dry and warm nest.
