Mossy Tree

Here is a huge oak tree that is covered in really soft moss year-round. This the best place to get moss but its a little walk from the camp.

Prey: Thrush, rabbits, squirrels, woodpeckers

Predators: foxes

Herbs: Marigold, dock

Willowdance halted at the base of the tree, her whiskers quivering. The air was full of scents, and she could tell that the prey was plentiful. Her tail twitched as she waited for Longstripe to appear. She didn't want to start hunting without him.

Longstripe was already dragging a rabbit through the undergrowth when he appeared. "Sorry, it just startled me so I caught it while I had the chance." He said with an apologetic smile. The tom twitched his whiskers, losing his playful energy. Longstripe had assumed Wilow wasn't very fond of his playfulness, so he just kind of stayed his distance from her.

The thunder clan leader pads over to the tree, with ears perk and body on alert. She sits down under the tree as Jaggerstar waited for a member of shadowclan to come. She narrowed her turquoise eyes to make sure her surroundings where still safe.

Longstripe scented ThunderClan, he growled and lept out of the bushes in front of Jaggerstar with a vicious hiss. He stopped short when he saw Jaggerstar. "Jaggerstar? What are you doing in ShadowClan Territory?" The Deputy asked the Clan Leader. He still had a rough note in his voice, as he didn't completely trust her.

Her ears perk at the shadowclan's deputy voice" well, I'm her on a important note." The she used a little hiss in her tone of voice. Jaggerstar stands up and continues,"my patrol had picked up the hints of shadow clan on our boarder." The female narrowed her eyes." I just came her to clear things up."

"You're very bold to tell us off on our own territory when you barged in here, univited. Besides, they must have moss for brains, it was the scent marks. I set them myself." He growled, his hackles rising as he advanced towards Jaggerstar. "I suggest you leave." He growled, knowing she was alone.

Jaggerstar pinned back her eyes and a grow escape her mouth." If we catch on our territory ever, you will be sorry..." The she cat's claws stretch in and out as she lower herself in her defense as a warning. She soon walks off before turning her head." Just remember what I said, and keep that in mind." She said roughly before walking off.

"What a piece of fox dung!" He snarled at her, then disappeared back into the bushes. "She is a piece of fix dung.." He sneered at Willowdance, snickering. The tome couldn't believe what she had accused them of. On their own territory!

The female leader walk away with a growl still escape her mouth. She walk back her eyes narrowed harder." They are so fox dung, thinking that we are clueless." The she cat mumble as she stumble back to her territory, her expression was full of rage as she makes her way back to her camp.

Willowdance was about to reply to Longstripe when the Thunderclan leader appeared out of nowhere. She watched the encounter with amusement as Jaggerstar faced of with the Shadowclan deputy before sending her away with an insult. Willow nodded in agreement. "Yeah, she is. She just prances onto our territory and starts flying accusations? I mean, really." She shook her head in disgust.

Longstripe lashed his tail with a last sigh and turned to Willowdance with a purr, his eyes twinkling a sthe sun went down. "Well, that's ThunderClan for you, theythink they're better than everyone!" He said as he gently touched his nise to her ear. "It's getting late, we shoyld head back before Lightstar starts ti worry." He said with a twitch of his tail abd headed back to Camp.

Willow nodded in agreement. Thunderclan did think they were better than everyone else. She followed Longstripe back to the camp empty pawed. So much for the hunting trip.
